Tenebrous

Indochine is the epitome of the "IT" New York restaurant. As famous for it's iconic painted banana leaves as much as for the famous friends that would dine beside them. At a time In NY where disco was dancing it's last few steps, the lines being done in the bathroom were not the only lines being crossed. Fancy enough for uptown, but cool enough for downtown, it's where the Studio 54 glamazons came to meet the chic Soho art scene with splatterings of the East Village bohemians. 25 years later and their anniversary proved they still now how to throw a fabulous fete.

Someone sent me this drawing they found of me on a blog. It comes from that night and my favourite part is that it's caption says "The Tenebrous Ladyfag".... Love it!
